Please read these terms and conditions carefully. When you make a booking, you accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your confirmation documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies within 48 hours of your booking.

Please book according to the number of guests staying at the property - if more rooms are requested after checking in may incur a cleaners call out fee of $100

Covid 19

At Sage we will go above and beyond to protect you. Our cleaning standards were already exceptionally high but we will give you the peace of mind we have put more actions into place to ensure you health is our number 1 priority. We will enforce and provide deep cleaning of our property. We have supplied disinfectant cleaners, soap and hand sanitisers for your use. We will comply with the local government standards to ensure we are all safe.

Guests accept and are held fully responsible for their visitors or children which may result in injury or harm when staying or visiting the property and it’s surrounds.
Any breach of these terms and conditions may result in immediate eviction with no refund or cancellation of your booking. We pride ourselves on being part of a charming community therefore please be considerate of the neighbours, unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated.


CHECK-IN + CHECK-OUT

Standard check in time is 2pm on the day of arrival and the property is to be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. An additional fee will be charged if you do not check out by 10am. Early arrivals and late check outs are at the discretion of Management and must be requested at the time of booking and can only be confirmed 1 day prior to arrival or departure. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate early arrivals and late departures, the only way to absolutely ensure an early check-in or late check-out is to book an extra night.


SECURITY BOND

Your credit card will be automatically debited in the event of: damage to the property, equipment, breakages or if extra cleaning is required. Please note: we will only process monies on your credit card or if there is reported damage to the Property, or if the 'Terms and Conditions' are not adhered to. You will be contacted to ensure you are aware of the money to be deducted from your nominated credit card .


NUMBER OF GUESTS

At no time during your occupancy is the number of guests staying to exceed the number booked Twin share 2 adults sharing and child up to the age of 2. Whole house upto 10 guests and 1 cot (unless prior approval is sought and given by management in writing) No Camping or caravans. All guests are paying guests.


CHILDREN 

Children’s prices for accommodation are included in the standard tariff rates and refer to children using existing bedding. A complimentary porta-cot, high chair and pram can be supplied however this is strictly for guests only. Steps and balconies need to be taken into consideration before booking. Please note there are no baby gates or stair barriers and supervision is the responsibility of parents & guardians. Please contact management if you need further information. Supervision of children around, steps, balconies, roads, driveways, and all areas of the property and surrounds are the sole responsibility of parents/guardians and Sage at Streaky Bay accepts no responsibility.


FUNCTIONS GROUP GATHERINGS

We do accept small parties, however these are all STRICTLY prohibited without written consent from Management prior to your arrival. No More than 10 guests are to sleep at the property and rooms booked will be only accessible to guests.


NOISE

Disturbance to other guests and neighbours including excessive noise, music and unruly behaviour is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund. If a noise complaint is received; a first warning will be given. If a second complaint is received this will result in immediate eviction with no refund.


PET POLICY

Unfortunately we are unable to accept pets. No pets are permitted on the property at any time. Additional cleaning charges will apply if this condition is breached and deducted from your credit card.


NO SMOKING

Smoking indoors at Sage at Streaky Bay is strictly prohibited. If there is any evidence of smoking inside  you will be charged an additional $500 for a specialised clean to eliminate odours and remove chemical residue before future guests may use the space.


CLEANING

Sage at Streaky Bay must be left in the same condition  upon your arrival. Excess cleaning fees up to $300 may apply (e.g. rubbish not being removed, dishes not washed and put away, barbecues not cleaned). Please report any existing damage to the house upon your arrival. Please immediately report any damage which occurs during your stay.


PROVISIONS

While it is your house to holiday in please be considerate of the next guests checking in. Please do not take consumables i.e. pantry supplies, washing powder, toiletries and Sage merchandise supplied. They are supplied for your holiday use only and are not to be removed from the premises. Bond will be held back if evidence of miss use is evident.

FIRE PIT

The fire pit is available for use according to the Eyre Peninsula fire season 15th April - 1st November. Use at own risk.


PAYMENT POLICY

A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Full payment is required within 30 days of your arrival date. If payment is not received by the due date, Sage at reserves the right to cancel the booking. Bookings within 30 days of arrival date require payment in full of rental fees.

Rates quoted are in Australian dollars and are subject to change at any time. Sage at Streaky Bay is not liable for and is not required to honour any pricing displayed that is quoted in error. A cancellation under these circumstances does not incur any cancellation fee. Minimum length of stay restrictions apply to certain rates during special event periods.

Preferred method of payment is credit card, EFT Transfer or Direct Bank Deposit. 


CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations with less than 7 days notice prior to your arrival date 100% cancellation fee of the booking total will be incurred.

  • Cancellations more than 7 days , 100% cancellation fee of the booking total will be refunded. 

  • COVID GENERAL CANCELLATIONS
    For a small accommodation business like ours, a cancellation can result in an empty house. Therefore, if you cancel your booking, we cannot refund any monies already paid. Instead we will do our best to re-sell your cancelled dates at the same rate you originally paid. If successful, we will transfer the value of any payment you have made, less a $100 admin fee. Please note that if you cancel your booking close to your arrival date, we may have to reduce the re-sale price of your cancelled dates and this will in turn reduce the value we can transfer to your new booking so the earlier you let us know the better! Minor date adjustments (eg. adding a day or moving your dates along by a day or two) are usually possible subject to availability, but changing all your dates will be treated as a cancellation. No refund or credit can be given for non-arrival, unused services, cancelled guests or unused nights. We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may result in the cancellation of holiday bookings.

    CANCELLATIONS DUE TO COVID-19
    If your booking is cancelled within 7 days prior to your arrival date or during your stay due to an unexpected and sudden government-mandated lockdown or border closure that directly affects one or all of the dates you have booked, we will transfer the full value of your booking (with no admin fee deducted) to a new booking subject to availability and our usual booking terms and conditions.

No cancellations are accepted within 7 days of your arrival date. You will be charged the total of the reserved stay under all circumstances. Written notification must be provided for all cancellations.

In the event Sage at Streaky Bay must to cancel your accommodation for circumstances beyond our control a full refund will be made. However we will not be held liable for any further costs incurred. 


INDEMNITY

Guests and their visitors actions, conduct and safety are the responsibility of the Guests. Sage at Streaky Bay do not condone: unsafe, irresponsible or illegal actions/behaviour etc. on or off the premises, during a stay or at any other time. A condition of entering and/or staying at this property means that all Guests understand and agree to indemnify the agent and owners against any responsibility or action(s) (legal or other), due to any action(s), incident(s), loss or injury(s) while within or outside of the premises (including, but not limited to, the grounds, facilities, structures, etc.) during a stay or at any other time.
